Our Designers

Personally selected by me, just for you

Design is like every other form of creative expression – what appeals to one person may not work for someone else. It's a personal choice but, just like with music, movies and even wine, there are some that are so consistently excellent you can never go wrong with them.

I love all the designers below for their originality and their high standards of workmanship. They understand how to make people look and feel great, and that's a wonderful gift.

I'm very proud that Karen Jordan | Style carries the ranges of some of New Zealand's best-known and best-loved designers, as well as excellent lines from further afield.

Whatever your fashion preference – sleek and sophisticated, flirty and feminine or vibrant and daring – you'll find it here, at Karen Jordan | Style.

Paula Ryan

Paula's SS18-19 collection floats lighter than air with gorgeous garments to layer and dress up or down. Perfect for travel and resort wear!

Her dresses this season are sublime and very flattering in bold, mixed prints or soft neutrals. Hemlines just skim the knee or fall into diagonal, maxi-length drapes. Anything goes with necklines— strapless, halter, scoop and square.

At their longest, sleeves stop at the elbow but there's also a selection of capped shoulders and even a nod to the '80s with some ruching.

Paula's garments are New Zealand-designed and made from natural fabrics.

Jane Daniels

Jane continues to draw inspiration from her travels. This season, she invites us to experience La Dolce Vita on the islands of Capri and Procida. Think 60s-inspired short jackets with plenty of swing and romantic, gauzy tea dresses in silk and georgette.

Cool linens also feature in jackets, dresses and loose, comfortable pants.

Jane's Mediterranean palette includes strawberry, turquoise, chartreuse and lagoon green, but she also remains true to her beloved neutrals—charcoal, stone, quartz, denim, and stylish black and white.

Beautifully tailored and finished, all Jane's garments are proudly made in New Zealand.

Trelise Cooper

Flamboyant and whimsical by turns, Trelise turns up the heat and celebrates the natural world this summer. Bold florals, appliquéd butterflies and rich, shiny fabrics give a lacquered look to the TC range. Prints mix with stripes for an effect that's joyful and full of exuberance.

Lifestyle label Cooper is all about frills, denim and gloss. Look out for appliquéd dragonflies and wild, nature-themed prints. Curate focuses on vivid green, powder blue and plenty of swing in skirts and tops. The "Mix Master" jacket is a standout.

We know many of you love Trelise, so we stock all three of these labels exclusively at KJS.
